The Basware Executive Team (group's management team) assists the CEO in the operative management of the Company, prepares matters handled by the Board and the CEO as well as plans and monitors business unit operations. The Executive Team convenes once a month. The CEO acts as chairman of the Executive Team.

The members of the Executive Team  in 2012 are  Esa Tihilä (CEO, Chairman), Matti Copeland, Mika Harjuaho, Mari Heusala,  Jorma Kemppainen, Pekka Lindfors, Steve Muddiman, Riku Roos, Matti Rusi and Jukka Virkkunen.
